We're a bunch of half-crazy individuals around the 50-year mark who in May 2021 decided we'd walk Para Endurance Race. We haven't stopped walking since.
In May 2021 we decided we'd walk Para Endurance Race in September 2022. It became the start of something that wouldn't stop.
Our shared background is that we've all done military service in jäger units. We gathered into two-person teams with varying fitness levels — some in decent shape, others more 'decently round'. Calling the team Skärp Dig! came naturally.
Skärp dig! ('Get a grip!') became our mantra. It's generic enough to fit anything — and that's what makes it useful.
We sharpen up by walking far and carrying heavy. Daily marches with packs over 20 kg.
The decision to continue when everything says no. Your buddy's steps when yours slow down. Courage isn't the absence of doubt — it's walking anyway.
A healthier diet is what lets the body carry more, longer, day after day.
How we meet adversity, how we treat each other. Proud when it's tough. Humble when it goes well.
Para Endurance Race is the civilian version of Örnmarschen — a test required to become a Swedish para-ranger. 70 km, 24 hours, full pack +20 kg/person. Two-person teams where both must finish. It was the reason we joined up. We've walked plenty of other things since.
Organizer: Rekyl × Paratrooper Club Location: Karlsborg
We always walk in pairs. Nicknames usually stick after a march or an unfortunate phrasing at the camp table.

"Bubble bath is life" — hence the name. Not impossible, but hard as hell.

Battle buddy with Bobbel during several Para Endurance Races. Controlled pace, keeping an eye on the feet.

Got his name at Kinnekulle when he packed a portable pizza oven for the camping spot. Logistics expert at heart.

Battle buddy with Locket. LK70 year after year, regardless of weather.

Marches, races, training camps.
We're looking for partners who understand what endurance costs — and what it means. Sponsorship with Skärp Dig! gives exposure in the right places, out in the terrain among people who trust the gear they carry.
Get in touch and we'll discuss packages, exposure, and how your brand fits. No forms, no processes. An email is enough — we respond.

On Instagram we share what's happening now.
